Prices for a building survey start from £450 (No VAT Payable). Dependent on the size, type, age and condition of the property, which I will assess before providing you with a quotation.
A Building Survey is a comprehensive and detailed report into the condition of the property, the risks associated with the property and any remedial works that could be required. This survey is typically carried out on properties that are: older; of non-standard construction; in poor condition or that have been significantly altered. These properties generally require a more in depth description of the construction, condition, risks and repairs that may be required. A market valuation and Reinstatement Cost Assessment (for building insurance purposes) can be included within the report at an agreed additional cost.
The Building Survey Report is defined by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) as a Level 3 survey, the highest level of survey offered. The Building Survey used to be referred to as a 'full structural survey'.
